Spent a very pleasant Guy Fawkes night up on Fløyen with some friends and a bonfire. Was planning to write more about this strange tradition, the history, the culture, the modern aspects and ultimatley why the english we train their children to burn catholics and set off rockets in the street - maybe another time

Ah but for the full effect you have to know that (a) this is Westminster Bridge and (b) to the left of the picture (ie) your left as you face, are the Houses of Parliament. This is also the direction which the "shadows" are pointing too...
